Första januari 2022 kom det första kravet gällande klimatdeklarationer. Detta innefattade att alla nybyggnader måste klimatdeklareras i byggskedet, modul A1-A5. 2025 planeras även gränsvärden läggas till för de redan existerande modulerna för klimatdeklarationer 2022.
