Kursen börjar med beskrivande statistik, population och stickprov, samt elementär sannolikhetslära och vanliga fördelningar. Vidare behandlas hypotesprövning och konfidensintervall, korrelation och regression, variansanalys, Chi-tvåtest och ickeparametriska metoder. Ett annat viktigt inslag är att arbeta med statistiska standardprogram.The course start withdescriptive statistics, populations and samples as wellas elementary probability theory and standard distributions. Further we treat tests and confidence intervals, correlation, regression, analysis of variance, Chi-square-tests and non-parametric methods.
