Stem cell transplants for Parkinson’s disease edging closer
A major breakthrough in the development of stem cell-derived brain cells has put researchers on a firm path towards the first ever stem cell transplantations in people with Parkinson’s disease. Kick-off for SciLifeLab Lund
On September 28, the official launch of SciLifeLab Lund will take place in Forum Medicum. Lund is one of the four new sites that were established in 2022. New study on PRP in ankle osteoarthritis
In a recent study from the Netherlands, researchers investigated whether PRP has any effect on ankle osteoarthritis. In a new study, treatment with PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) for ankle osteoarthritis has been investigated. Time to plan the spring semester
Right now, two new course starts are planned under SWEAH's auspices next year. All SWEAH courses are open to all PhD students, nationally and internationally, but SWEAH affiliates are given preference. Doctoral students connected to SWEAH's research school undertake to participate in at least two of the courses on aging and health that make up SWEAH's Core Curriculum during the connection period.
