För tredje gången bjöd Odeum in till festivalen Lund Contemporary, en biennal för samtida konstmusik som arrangeras i samverkan med en rad lokala, regionala och nationella aktörer. Det blev ett varierat program där nyskriven musik, med tyngdpunkten på regionala tonsättare, varvades med bland annat panelsamtal, intervjuer och föreläsningar. Lund Contemporary 2021 ingick i Kungl.
