Bröstcancer är den vanligaste cancerformen bland kvinnor. Ovarialcancer upptäcks ofta sent och prognosen är därför dålig. Den relativa 5-årsöverlevnaden är mindre än 50%, jämfört med >80% för bröstcancer.
