Den snabba utvecklingen av artificiell intelligens (AI) har de senaste åren gjort stora avtryck i samhället och detta kan komma att ha konsekvenser för musikundervisning. Syftet med studien är att undersöka vilka AI-baserade verktyg som kan komma att vara användbara för musiklärare och på vilka sätt dessa verktyg potentiellt kan användas inom ramen för kursen Instrument eller sång 1 på gymnasiet.
Förutfattade meningar och fördomar gör gällande att bilderboken som medium enbart riktar sig till yngre barn som inte kan läsa själva. I motsats till dessa fördomar utgår uppsatsen från att bilderböcker finns för alla ålderskategorier.
