Graduate School Retreat

The Graduate School held its first annual retreat in Ystad 21-22 September. 13 PhD students from different disciplines and universities attended the retreat as well as 10 senior scholars. At the retreat issues and challenges regarding publications and academic careers were discussed, as well as the PhD students' research and other issues related to contemporary Asian studies.

The Ravensbrück Archive receives Memory of the World status

UNESCO has added the unique archive of 500 in-depth interviews with Holocaust survivors to the Memory of the World Register. It recognises the Ravensbrück Archive as an example of a cultural heritage of great value to humanity. Digitisation of card catalogues led to unexpected discovery at the University Library

Through its extensive digitisation of older card catalogues, Lund University Library has made an unexpected discovery: a copy of astronomer Copernicus' famous work from the 16th century, which presents the theory that the Earth revolves around the Sun. University administrative award recognises work on the Ravensbrück archive

100 deltagare i AVAnT1A!

Vi har fått vår 100de deltagare i AVAnT1A i Sverige, hurra! Totalt är det ca 320 barn som deltar i studien runt om i Europa. Det yngsta barnet är 4 månader och det äldsta är över 2 år gammalt.
