Ett vanligt förekommande mål bland såväl motionärer, idrottare, patienter och klienter är att öka muskelmassan, muskelhypertrofi. Ett antal litteraturöversikter har undersökt hur träning ska optimeras för att nå muskelhypertrofi, men ingen av dessa har fokuserat enbart på armbågsflexorer. Vi hypotetiserar att vad som är optimal dosering för att nå hypertrofi skiljer sig mellan olika muskelgrupper.
