Mellan sinnelag och värld: Inbildningskraften i romantiskt tänkande och teologisk metodologi

In this thesis I investigate the notion of imagination in Romantic thought and in the visual art of William Blake with the aim of making a contribution to theological methodology. In early German Romanticism, as well as in the art of William Blake, the concept of imagination plays a central role in the relationship between the Absolute and the perceiving and knowing subject. My thesis takes its st

Doubts About Rater Objectivity: An Investigation of Possible Ways to De-Bias Implicitly Biased Rankings

The aim of this paper is to present the kinds of error that implicit bias can cause when we are to judge and rank which available candidate is the most suited for e. g. a job vacancy, and to investigate whether we can de-bias ranking lists in recruiting processes given that we suspect that implicit bias has influenced the ranking. I will argue that the available methods for this (positive discrimi

LAS26 Revive and Destroy

Open event – 10 March 2026 As societal restructurings embrace the cultural, environmental, and economical values of existing buildings, architects face new challenges in balancing between revival and destruction. Revival expands the architectural design sensibility into a creative, forward-looking act, where political and economic forces shape how we understand value, develop our processes, and op

Do analysts have specific stock-picking skills?

Abstract Background: During the period 2000-2010, the majority of the Swedish populations’ savings were in equity funds. The consequence of households increased savings in stocks has resulted in a growing market for stock recommendations. However, whether analysts’ stock recommendations are reliable or not has been discussed for eight decades, ever since Alfred Cowles pioneering study “Can stock m

Investigation of effects of intake temperature on low load limitations of methanol partially premixed combustion

Methanol has unique properties as a fuel, and partially premixed combustion has promising results with high engine efficiency and low emissions. Low load studies with methanol partially premixed combustion are scarce, and the effect of intake temperature on low load methanol partially premixed combustion still remains an intriguing question. This study aims to investigate the effect of intake temp

Investigations of Hematopoietic Stem Cells and Their Age-Associated Alterations

Cranked Nilsson-Strutinsky model applied to high spin states in Na22,23 : Systematics of rotational isomers and band terminations in the A=20-26 region

Previously proposed high spin states in Na22,23 are compared with calculations from the cranked Nilsson model including Strutinsky renormalization. High K rotational isomers are proposed for Iπ=6- in Na22 and 11/2+, 13/2+, and possibly 15/2+ in Na23. The positive parity yrast sequences in these two nuclei are analyzed in terms of the change from collective to single particle behavior at I=9 (22Na)

Non-invasive pressure volume loops derived by cardiovascular magnetic resonance: association between area at risk or infarct size and cardiac hemodynamics at 2-6 days after myocardial infarction

BackgroundA novel non-invasive method for generation of pressure volume loops (PV-loops) using brachial blood pressure and cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging has recently been presented and validated (1). The non-invasive nature of this method enables calculation of PV-loops in large patient cohorts previously not feasible due to the need of invasive measurements.PurposeThe purpose of
