By discussing Sophie Leijonhufvud’s Swedish translation of Dinah Mulock’s A Woman’s Thoughts about Women (1858, transl. 1861) this article investigates how the agenda of the translator and editor may affect the target text, for instance by altering the implied reader and by assuming an additional authorial voice.

Here we report an EPR signal that is induced by a pH jump to alkaline pH in the S3 state of the oxygen-evolving complex in photosystem II. The S3 state is first formed with two flashes at pH 6.
