Suicide is a major global health problem imposing a considerable burden on populations in terms of disability-adjusted life years. There has been an increasing trend in fatal and attempted suicide in Iran over the past few decades. The aim of the current study was to assess overall, gender and social inequalities across Iran's provinces during 2006-2010.

The effects induced by Na deposited on furnace grown graphene on SiC(0001) and after subsequent annealing are investigated using LEEM, mu-LEED, mu-PES and XPEEM. Intercalation in between carbon layers and at the interface is observed to occur both on the 1 ML and 2 ML areas directly after Na deposition. Annealing at a temperature around 100 degrees C is found to strongly promote Na intercalation.

Melangyna pavlovskyi (Violovitsh, 1956) has been found breeding in Denmark. The species is recorded from four localities on Zealand, and it is established on at least one of these. It is new to the European fauna. A redescription of M. pavlovskyi based on the external characters and an updated key to the NW European species of Melangyna are presented.
